The saga describes political strategic plots between two nations at war with a main character named Long, a young man who lost his parents. When the country is invaded, Long joins the imperial army to defend the people. During his journey, Kien, another main character, helps Long escape prison. Together, they protect each other and fight for the country. Long is said to possess remarkable abilities related to the great secrets of the world’s fate. Kien’s identity is also revealed as an extraordinary person in the history of the Tran Dynasty, known as Long Than Tuong.
